Jarrod Fairclough – If you’re like me, you wear your Muppet fandom on your sleeve. Every one of your friends and family know you love those puppets, and it’s something they automatically associate with you.
That often means that when birthdays and holidays roll around, your given Muppet gifts. Well, last year was no different, so we put the call out and asked what Muppet gifts YOU received! And just for good measure, I’ve included one I was given too!
I was given an Elmo mug by my dear Nan, while everyone else in my family was given wine. I had a good laugh at that.
Jake got a 2016 Muppet Calendar, a copy of the PBS documentary ‘Jim Henson, In Their Own Words’, a triple film set, Season One of The Muppet Show, a notepad with his name on it, a computer game, and a Gobo hand puppet! Not a bad haul!
Jayden got a Crazy Harry Palisades figure and copy of Frank Oz’s ‘Little Shop of Horros’ (it counts!)
Frederic got Muppet VHS Tapes “The Kermit and Piggy Story” and “Gonzo Presents Muppet Weird Stuff”, Sesame Street comics “Another Sunny Day” and “Blast from the Past”, 2 Muppet pins, a Sesame Street Mug, 2 Sesame Street shirts and 1 Muppet shirt, a Sesame Street place mat and a Sesame Street pillowcase. I want all of it. (That Kermit at the top right was just to fill up space!)
Macy got a Kermit Throw kit, a Kermit mug, and a Muppet Mosaic shirt from Threadless (Hey, we know the guy who drew that!)
Adam got a Kermit desktop calendar, Kermit pencils, Ernie and Bert Pop Funko figures, a ‘Bromance’ shirt, bulletin board boarders for his classroom, and the amazing Muppet Cuckoo clock. I’m going to enrol in his class right now!
Finally, Julia got a Snuffleupagus plush, a Kermit magnet and a Beaker keychain! I want that Snuffy, and I want it now.
So that just about wraps it up! Get it? Wocka Wocka!
