Jarrod Fairclough – Henson and Netflix and Julie Andrews are just a few of my favorite things, so it’s very exciting to hear that all three are teaming up to create Julie’s Greenroom, a new pre-school series for the streaming service. Variety is reporting that a slew of amazing guest stars have signed on to appear, including Alex Baldwin, Ellie Kemper, and Titus Burgess, who probably shouldn’t sing about Pinot Noir in this show.
Former Sesame Street Head Writer and performer Joey Mazzarino is co-producing and directing the 13 episode series, where Julie plays the leader of a performing arts company. No word yet on the puppeteers behind/under the characters, but Henson has the cream of the crop of talent, and we’re sure this production will be no different!
