Jarrod Fairclough – Ever wondered what Kermit the Frog would look like if you smooshed him with WingDings? It’s probably something like this!
The designers who created the font, called “Kernit”, originally for the Museum of the Moving Image’s Jim Henson Exhibition have released the typeface for free, which means we can use it however we like! According to the designers, “This typeface is meant to capture the same imagination, fun and whimsy which we came to love in Henson’s vivid work.”
And fun and whimsy it is! The bold rounded font is available at this link, and the website itself is worth a little click around, with a few little surprises.
