Muppet Newsflash

Due to Caroll Spinney Week on The Muppet Mindset, we missed a few noteworthy news stories, so join us now as we recap!

‘Can You Picture That’ Music Video
Last week Disney released an all new Sing-Along music video for The Electric Mayhem’s ‘Can You Picture That’ from The Muppet Movie.  The video is noteworthy for being made up with the new musical arrangement that has been heard at the various live Muppet events over the past couple of years, with lyrics recorded by Bill Baretta, Matt Vogel, David Rudman and Eric Jacobson.  The video itself includes footage that debuted at Outside Lands way back in 2016, and is a heck of a lot of fun.

Muppet*Vision3D Reduced Hours
ToughPigs reported last week that Muppet*Vision3D over at Walt Disney World has reduced its hours to 10am-6pm, regardless of the Park’s hours.  While this is disappointing, and shows a lack of support for the classic attraction, it still leaves 8 hours a day to view the show.  But it’s not promising for the future.  Fingers crossed it sticks around.

Emmet Otter Is Coming To BluRay
The holiday classic Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas is coming to BluRay December 18th, meaning you’ll be able to view the fibers on each puppet in HD!  Not only that, but this is the whole piece, including the appearance of Kermit the Frog who has been missing from some previous releases!  The film will be available via Amazon, but currently there is no Pre-Order link.
