Jarrod Fairclough – Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City is about to get a whole lot more adorable when the Sesame Street Muppets take the stage next month.

Alongside jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, characters like Elmo, Ernie, Bert, Big Bird, Abby and a bunch more will come together to do jazz covers of their best known songs, like ‘People In Your Neighborhood’, ‘Rubber Duckie’, and the theme song from Bert and Ernie’s Great Adventures…  Okay, so probably not that last one.

The show’s description also teases the return of Hoots the Owl, who has not been seen in almost a decade.

Marsalis is an old friend of Sesame Street, having appeared multiple times over the years.

The shows will take place October 25th at 7:00pm, and on October 26th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.  You can purchase tickets right here.
