The Muppets Dominate Carnegie Hall

Yesterday something incredible happened. Something that hadn’t happened in an official capacity in more than 30 years. Characters from Disney’s Muppets Studio, Sesame Workshop’s Sesame Street, and The Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock shared the stage and the spotlight. Yes, Muppets, monsters, and Fraggles all appeared in the unbelievable and unforgettable Jim Henson’s Musical World performance yesterday at Carnegie Hall in New York City, accompanied by the New York Pops.

They sang songs, they danced dances, they made jokes, and the entertained a crowd of people for two sold out shows. There really isn’t much to say here… but I can promise you that we’ll have a full write-up of the show later this week. But for now, enjoy some very illegal pictures and videos from the performance. The first three videos and final picture come from the awesome Patrick Cotnoir, all the other pictures are from the amazing Dave Hulteen. The “Rainbow Connection” video is by ceejimama on YouTube.
